1. Scope and use

These terms govern use of the musical instrument app kalimpad provided by the operator. You may use the app in accordance with these terms and applicable app store conditions. The app is provided free of charge, with no advertising or in-app purchases. You are responsible for any device, connectivity, or similar costs.

2. Performances and rights

You may perform with the app, record your performances, and publish them for commercial or noncommercial purposes. Using the app alone does not transfer rights in your original performances or compositions to the operator. You are responsible for checking any permissions required to use other people’s music or other material. Rights in the app’s code, screens, illustrations, and other assets belong to the operator or their respective rights holders. Open-source software is governed by its own licenses. These terms do not restrict those licenses or uses permitted by law.

3. Responsible use and prohibited conduct

Set sound and haptics to appropriate levels and use the app where you can operate your device safely. Unlawful conduct, infringement of others’ rights, unauthorized access, and improper interference with the app or related services are prohibited.

4. Availability and changes

Sound, haptics, and responsiveness vary by device, operating system, and other conditions. Identical behavior in every environment, uninterrupted availability, and freedom from defects are not guaranteed. The operator may modify features or suspend or discontinue the app for maintenance, improvements, or other reasons. Where possible, significant changes or discontinuation will be announced in advance in the app or on its distribution page. Any future charges or purchase conditions will be disclosed separately before purchase. These terms alone do not create an obligation to pay.

5. Responsibility

The operator’s responsibility in connection with the app is governed by applicable law. These terms do not exclude or limit rights granted to users under consumer protection or other mandatory laws.

6. Personal information

Information is handled in accordance with the separately provided Privacy Policy.

7. Changes to these terms

Changes and their effective date will be announced in the app or on its distribution page. Where a change requires consent by law, the required procedure will be followed.
